This Dallas-based company delivers temporary, career and professional staffing solutions to companies in every region of the country and has been operating in the Sarasota market for more than 10 years, specializing in placing candidates in "temporary," "temporary to hire" and "direct hire" opportunities. In addition to instituting measures to reduce its own environmental footprint, Snelling has made a concerted effort to work with its property management company to improve the performance of the entire building.

Snelling Staffing Services became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2009. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
