O Projeto Lontra tem quase 30 anos de história. Atualmente, as ações do Projeto abrangem a recuperação, conservação e ampliação do conhecimento técnico de lontras e outros integrantes da família Mustelidae. Através da mobilização social, o projeto procura atingir pessoas de todas as idades para que elas possam entender a importância da conservação da biodiversidade.
