Led by Tom Igoe, Interactive Telecommunications Program at the Tisch School of the Arts

A state of the art solar photovoltaic generator system will power an array of batteries on an environmental monitoring station on a NYU campus rooftop. A suite of instruments will continuously collect statistical data on the wind and solar insulation of the local environment, as well as record the actual power generated by the devices. All data will be analyzed to assess the feasibility of renewable distributed campus energy generation.
