The 29th Street Community Center (29SCC) is a community based site organized and established by Strong City Baltimore, formerly known as the Greater Homewood Community Corporation. Currently, over 78% of the programs offered at 29SCC are led by residents and members of the local community. There are a variety of programs offered to the youth, such as reading clubs and arts and crafts classes. Adult programs for fitness, smoking cessation, GED, and AA are also offered.
