Val Bialas/Parkway Community Center
Overview
Val Bialas gives Utica residents a chance to go skiing or tubing within the city limits. Although the ski hills will not provide much of a challenge for experienced skiers, it is an excellent site for children to learn how to ski. The Community Center is home to outdoor tennis courts, a fitness center, and indoor basketball courts. Val Bialas provides Utica residents with something to do during the extremely long, cold winters. In addition, the Parkway Community Center is located along the Memorial Parkway, an excellent road for runners. The Parkway Community Center is also the location of the Boys and Girls Club of Utica.
