The Squamish Open Green Map is an online version of our Squamish Green Map which is currently being developed for a printing date of Fall 2009. A collaborative community project, the Squamish Mapping Group has hosted workshops, forums, drop-in hours and meetings for the area's youth, societies and residents. Throughout our process we are using local knowledge and perspectives to share an awareness of Squamish's social, environmental, historical and business assets; the map will illustrate these community-valued assets and concerns of life in Squamish as well as visions for a "greener", sustainable future.
