Better Waverly Youth Sculpture Garden

The Better Waverly Youth Sculpture Garden is a public artspace designed by children and youth. The land was acquired through the city's "adopt-a-lot" program, reclaiming a site on which four rowhouses had burned down. Children designed and built a mosaic pond and several cement sculptures. They have worked with Parks & People to plant flowers and trees. An artist in the MACA/MICA program donated a bench. It's a community work in progress and it could use some TLC! 901 Arts creative energy has gone into storm drain stenciling in recent times.
